Dream Catchers.

Dream catchers were used by Native Americans because the webs within the circle were believed to catch bad dreams on their way to a sleeper, while the good dreams passed through, so only the good dreams were permitted to go to the sleeper.  The kids loved creating these and I was often asked the question, "Do these REALLY work?!" to which I would respond, "I don't know! You'll have to see!"  In this lesson we talked about color and pattern.
