Texture Birds.

To learn about texture, kindergarteners and 1st graders created their own texture birds.  These are a perfect mix of adorable and hilarious.  The kids loved making these and I loved watching!

Value, Tint, and Shade Collage.

Recently students learned about values of color.  Using a collage made of magazine strips, students were able to demonstrate their knowledge of tints (color + white) and shades (color + black)  by creating a value scale that ranges from dark to light.
